I’m so sorry—I forgot to send this out earlier. This is what happens when you put me on vacation. Beach brain!

I’m not paying close attention to the news, but it sounds like Trump performed abysmally at another interview yesterday while Harris continues to gather support, endorsements, money, volunteers, and momentum. Good!
Our job is to keep on keeping on, remembering we have 97 days more to chop wood, carry water, and bring this home in a major way.
We can do this, all. We’re made for it. Never forget it.

Under the U.S. Constitution, states have a uniquely important role in picking presidential electors. On Tuesday, August 6th from 6pm to 7pm ET, meet The States Project's General Counsel, Lauren Popper Ellis, who will unpack the threat to the 2024 Presidential election in PA, AZ, NV, NH and MI.
In key state legislatures like Pennsylvania, Democrats hold a narrow majority in the House of Representatives, but depending on the results of the November elections, a new MAGA majority could be seated as early as December 1st. A newly Republican state legislature could start investigations based on inconsistencies within or across counties, providing “grounds” for Congress to reject the state’s electors.

Join a coalition of amazing groups on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM ET, starting on August 1, (sorry this is too late for today’s event) as they reach out to strong Democratic voters in swing Congressional districts to encourage them to Early Vote on Day 1. When voters Early Vote on Day 1, campaigns can focus their resources to turn out less likely voters.
Markers for Democracy, Postcards 4 VA, Simon Rosenberg's "Hopium Chronicles," and others are teaming up for this program because everything is on the line this election. We need to win back the House so when we send VP Harris to the White House she has the support in the Senate and House to get things done.
For 12 Thursdays they are joining together to focus on a different swing district central to winning back the House. You will meet the candidate and then have your choice of breakout rooms - phone bank to friendly Dems or write them up to 10 postcards.
Each room will have people who can train you in either activity and help you throughout the evening. If you are new to either activity or want to hone your skills, join us in reaching out to these essential and like-minded voters.
Postcard writers - You can use any colorful, upbeat postcard you want.
