It is exciting to have a young CA Latino man on the Oversight Comm. I just hope he works hand-in-hand with Jasmine Crockett, a true fireball, who is also young and vibrant.

I just attended the 1st one million rising training.

We need Substack folks to organize establishing for our Resistance:

A color (I like purple)

A logo or saying that goes on merch like hats and t-shirts, pins, bumper stickers etc.

So we can all buy them wear them and display them, like MAGAts have. So people know immediately where we stand.

Jess, I know you have a full plate with all the substantive work you are doing, but could a volunteer work on creating and selling Chop Wood Carry Water T-shirts to sell with the goal of raising money to support vulnerable immigrants?

People across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico participated in an origami fish folding event to protest the construction of the Line 5 Oil Pipeline through the Great Lakes. Together, we blew the world record out of the water, with 86,262 origami fish, representing an inspiring and energizing campaign.

What started as a bold idea to break a world record turned into a wave of connection, creativity, and action that stretched across the globe. Each one of the origami fish created in this campaign was a call for action: to honor tribal sovereignty, protect the Great Lakes, and shut down Line 5 once and for all.

Organizers are now asking for people across the country to come together and call on Gov. Whitmer (MI) to follow through on her campaign promise to #shutdownline5.

You can give her a call (even if you don't live in Michigan - calls from across the country help!) via the link below, which includes a script and background information.

Re New York vs McMahon

Can you, or anyone who has the right contacts, go to the AFT and the other plaintiffs and recommend that they return to the appropriate court, either District of Massachusetts or First Circuit Court of Appeals, and ask for a new injunction based on the fact that the Supreme Court did not explain its decision. You all could say that the Supreme Court decision was lacking a reasoned explanation.

Resist bot does NOT work on a desktop! Only a phone!

yeah, it does now, as they just rolled out a version for the web. The original design was to make it convenient for people who wanted to be able to use it on their phones.

Resistbot is on the web! Have a look at

https://resist.bot/chat

and follow the instructions to log in using your existing account with either a QR code or manually log in (or to create an account if you do not already have a Resistbot account).

Use FOLLOW JESSCRAVEN101 to get Jess's petitions sent to you whenever she creates a new one.

If you use Discord, they have a discussion server here: https://rs.bot/discord

Great interview. I'm impressed with him and others who are leading the charge. Raul Ruiz is another great one. Swallwell, Crockett, AOC, Frost, and the list goes on. These young women and men have the grip we all need to get.

Jessica. I have a terrific document on the importance of narrative in forwarding democracy and its significance to building movements I would like to send you. Its free & based on substantial professional research by Metropolitan Group. Look them up, read their credo. Its way too big to post as a message. Can you tell me how to email it to you to share further? A subscriber.
