Hi, all.

No words. I weep as I write this, but I write. Because crying alone won’t fix this.

I can’t emphasize enough that we must vote Republicans out in November. And NRA-backed Democrats, too. If you’ve been reticent to get involved with electoral work, I’m going to ask you to overcome that reticence now. We can call our representatives until the end of time. If we don’t hold the House and expand the Senate in November we will see violence like this week’s become a constant reality. I’m not kidding. This is existential.

So I’ll give you a call to make to your Senators. And one to Chuck Schumer, too. And some Resisbots to send.

But it’s the electoral work that will save us.

So pick something to do there, please. There are no sidelines anymore. Not if we want our kids to survive.

Sending love, strength and hope. Which is, of course, an action.

An action we must take even on the bleakest of days.

I’ve also had it with Republican obstruction of even the most common sense gun laws. You ALL have blood on your hands. But it’s not too late to change course. Let me help him make this decision. Yes. Bring them for a vote. Make the Republicans vote no on common sense gun laws that 90% of Americans support while those children’s bodies are still warm.
