Hi, all, and happy Friday!

Man! Big news week! Every time I turn around another jawdropping headline is on my screen. By the time I finish writing this intro more bombshells will likely have dropped.

The fact that Trump is going to push for a national abortion ban—huge news that broke this morning in the New York Times—is incredibly clarifying, isn’t it? We all knew he’d try, but it’s good to have it out there where we can run on it. And run on it we will; politically it’s a huge gift.

But there’s more: True the Vote admitted they were lying the whole time. Trump’s got a trial date. James Comer’s impeachment case just blew up in his face. The House went home for two weeks despite not having done anything on the budget, dealt with the border, funded Ukraine, or resolved its differences over FISA. It just goes on and on.

Lots of the stuff happening is dismaying. But it’s also stuff we can use to our advantage. So while I don’t celebrate Republican dysfunction I do celebrate that it makes our jobs easier.

Meanwhile, we’ll keep doing what we do: calling our reps, donating strategically, signing up to volunteer, and talking to our friends and neighbors about the importance of this election.

In so doing we will further our cause, while the Republicans, every day, wildly undermine their own.

I am appalled to learn that, according to the Wall Street Journal, a company called Near Intelligence has tracked the location data of people going to Planned Parenthood sites and sold the data to antiabortion groups who target these women. Such data can be used to prosecute women who travel across state lines for abortion healthcare. Appalling!

I’ve had enough of women being treated like second-class citizens in our country. I want you to do everything possible to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (H.R. 12/S. 701) restoring the right to an abortion nationwide, and the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act (H.R. 767/S. 4467) to make sure the medicine used in 53% of all abortions is available. I am a pro-choice voter and will only support representatives who fight for reproductive freedom. Thanks.
