Sometimes I do it late at night. Sometimes if my day gets busy I do it the next day. Or several days of actions back to back on a single day to get caught up. Just so long as every one does it!

I’m flying home from Minneapolis, waiting at the airport as I write this. I had a trip planned to boat my daughter before Renee was killed. My daughter teaches ESL so she worries a lot about her kids. When I got here on Thursday we went to a “constitutional observer” training that was packed and included appearances from the mayors of St Paul and Minneapolis. We also went to the march on Saturday that included 1,000s of people. We saw people standing on street corners with whistles and read about ICE abducting Native Americans here—and the f-Ed irony of that. I har always loved the twin cities for its progressive -ness, artsy-ness and nature and I find it so heartbreaking. BTW, our training was by the immigrant defense network and they are fantastic. One of their workers told us that his father is afraid and hasn’t left the house for three months and has lost 30 pounds :(
Was Renee Good’s death a fait accompli? This is from a LA times 2014 report: “Patrol agents have deliberately stepped in the path of cars apparently to justify shooting at the drivers and have fired in frustration at people throwing rocks from the Mexican side of the border, according to an independent review of 67 cases that resulted in 19 deaths.” They’ve had a dozen years to refine their tactics. https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-border-killings-20140227-story.html
Living through the hell here in Minneapolis. Our communities are being terrorized on a daily basis. MIRAC(Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee) is another trusted and vital organization in Minnesota if anyone wants to donate. We are sad and really angry here and are working diligently to keep our protests peaceful.❤️❤️

I live in Minnesota. Our signal groups are blowing up with new volunteers. My signal chats are filled up with horrifying videos of ICE terrorizing my neighbors and friends.
I just heard that ICE is now disrupting air travel at the Twin Cities airport "doing their thing." I think we need to defund ICE. We have a big budget battle looming in Washington. We should shut down the government until they defund ICE and extend the ACA subsidies, as a minimum.
We're doing what we can. We need the rest of the country on board with us. No one should feel immune to ICE threats. If we don't shut them down now, it will only get worse everywhere else.
I'm on 4 Signal groups and I can't imagine what it would be like to be on 17! Can you reach out for some funding to hire an assistant (or two). I would donate.
I have a part time assistant. She takes care of my emails and appointments, and helps with Extra Extra a bit. I could probably use someone full time but she’s a life saver.
Thanks for all of the mentally and emotionally intensive work you do to keep so many people informed! As the point person for a much smaller group of people on current political news, I know how taxing it can be to sort through the daily horrors, decide how much to include (and potentially what might lead to paralysis and overwhelming depression instead of inciting action), and then take any sort of action yourself, in addition to continuing to grocery shop because daily chores don't disappear in the crisis. As you constantly remind us, you're doing a great job and we're honored to be here with you!
